Exteriors - Introduction
Art Nouveau is one of the most revolutionary movements in the history of art. It emerged at the turn of the 20th century as a reaction against the precise geometry of neoclassical design. The main principle was to create an art style inspired by the beauty of nature.
Architecture was at the centre of this decorative style, and every detail of a building's interior and exterior had to be related and integrated to the whole structure in order to make art a part of daily life.
